Women's Cross Country CU Athletics

Short handed Lady Tigers able to hold their own at the Greater Louisville Classic Saturday morning

LOUISVILLE, KY – Lady Tigers were short handed Saturday morning when they toed the line at the Greater Louisville Classic. 
 
Only four Lady Tigers were able to compete in the stacked race. The group was led by Hailie LaMar. LaMar who has been working her way back from injury was able to work her way up with her 136th place finish with a time of 20:07.3.
 
Close behind LaMar was Emma Steff. Steff and LaMar stayed close the whole race until the final kilometer of the race. Steff was able to place 166th overall with her time of 20:23.7.
 
Nina Daman was the third harrier for the Lady Tigers to finish the race today. Daman ran a time of 20:46.4 while placing 215th place overall. T'lea Scott was close behind Daman. Scott was able to run a 20:50.7 and placed 227th.
 
The Lady Tigers will look to return to action at full strength in three weeks when they travel to Michigan for the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge.
