CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Tiger Volleyball signs Avery Chick, an incoming freshman, from Newcastle High School for the 2023 season.
 
A 5-9 libero from Newcastle, Wyoming, Chick chose to come to CU because of the family aspect he found when visiting the first time. He plans to study Marketing while at CU.
 
At Newcastle High School in Newcastle, Wyoming, Chick was named to the Principal's Honor Roll. He also earned All-Conference in cross country, All-Conference Honorable Mention in soccer and a varsity letter in basketball.
 
Chick spent 2 years volunteering at Salt Creek Vet Clinic as a Vet Assistant and helped with Totes of Hope. Chick is the son of Tina and David Chick.
