CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Campbellsville University men's volleyball program has signed Jannik Bachmann for the 2023 season.
 
Bachmann, a 6-6 junior middle blocker from Backnang, Germany, will transfer from Pädagogische Hochschule Ludwigsburg (University of Education). "I like the approach of a Christian-valued learning environment," Bachmann said, "CU gives me the possibility to combine my studies and sports." He is a current major in political science with a minor in biblical studies.
 
In Germany, Bachmann provided German language lessons for emigrated refugees and was a youth ministry leader at the Urban Life Church in Ludwigsburg.

Bachmann is the son of Andreas and Katharina Bachmann.
