MARSHALL, Mo. – The Tigers traveled to Missouri Valley College where they participated in the Valley Clash duals and emerged 4-0 in team play.
Campbellsville took the mat Thursday against (RV) William Penn University, (RV) Saint Ambrose University, #9 Baker University, and host (RV) Missouri Valley College. The Tigers won over William Penn 41-9, Saint Ambrose 33-15, Baker 21-14, and Missouri Valley 28-15. Campbellsville was able to claim victory in each dual despite granting six points in three of the four duals due to forfeit in the 157 lb. class.

Noah Lippeat went 2-0 with a 7-1 decision victory against Baker and a 10-0 major decision over Missouri Valley.

Zeke Escalera (decision and pinfall) and Cam Henderson (pinfall and technical fall) both were undefeated on the day.

Tombola Sindihebura beat #9 Austin Kolvek (Baker) in a 10-8 decision.

On the year, the Tigers have wins over #9 Cumberland University, #12 Lourdes University, and (RV) Truett McConnell University in addition to the ranked teams they defeated at the Valley Clash.
Tigers wrestling will return in the new year competing at the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) NAIA National Duals at Memorial Coliseum in Louisville, Kentucky beginning January 7
th.
