Tigers able to sweep Olivet Nazarene in their home opener 7-0 Thursday afternoon

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY- The Tigers were able to walk away without conceding a point in a 7-0 victory over Olivet Nazarene.
 
Mario Sanchez and Grayson Cullen were the first group to be able to step off the court in their doubles matchup with a (6-1) win. 
 
Matus Sevcik and Yuto Shimostuii brought in the second win not too far behind their teammates with a (6-2) win. 
 
The final pairing of Raul Safont and Jericho Grollman had the longer match of the three with a (6-3) win. 
 
Grollman and Sevcik were able to bring in the first two pairs of wins in singles play. Grollman won his match at (6-3, 6-3) while Sevcik was (6-2, 6-0).
 
Safont's first set win did not come easy as it took the extra point to win the set. He still won the match (7-6, 6-2). Sanchez and Weisner had similar scores as the duo traded set wins. Sanchez won (6-1, 6-0, while Weisner won (6-1, 6-0).
 
The Tigers are back in action Saturday as they travel to Lexington, Kentucky for a neutral court matchup against Indiana University Southeast.
