BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – As the postseason continues in the Mid-South Conference, Campbellsville University men's basketball guard
Taiveyhon Mason earned All-MSC First Team honors for the 2020-21 season.
For Mason, it's the second-straight season he earned All-Conference recognition as he earned Second Team honors in 2019-20. CU's starting point guard took a big leap in scoring ability this season jumping his points per game average from 13.5 in 2019-20 to 19.6 in 2020-21 to earn that move up to the First Team.
Mason's 19.6 points per game average is the most a Tiger has averaged in a season since the late
Stephaun Adams did so in the 2018-19 season when Adams averaged 19.8 points per game. Mason averaged just under 4.0 assists per game and also grabbed 3.8 rebounds per game while averaging a team-high 32 minutes per game, the only Tiger over 30 on the season.
Campbellsville's season came to a close this past Tuesday when the Tigers fell to Pikeville in the opening round of the Mid-South Conference Tournament as CU will look towards a bounce back year in the 2021-22 season.
