Kingsport, TN- Sebastian Escobar was able to add to his resume as he became the Mid-South Conference Champion in the 1,650-yard freestyle.
 
Escobar was able to beat out University of the Cumberlands Alan Seen by four seconds. Escobar came in at 16:08.87 while Senn finished in 16:12.99. Freshman Dustin Melton was able to help Escobar in the event with key points with an eighth place finish at 20:01.92.
 
Ian Lopez brought in a seventh place finish in the 100-yard freestyle. Lopez swam the event in 48.62 while the entire field was separated by less than four seconds.
 
In the 200-yard breaststroke, Israel Kolomiyets and Justin Spalding were able to qualify for the fast heat of the finals. Kolomiyets was able to finish sixth place in the event with a time of 2:15.64 while Spalding came less than one second behind at 2:16.78.
 
Campbellsville finished the championships in third place overall with a team score of 380.5. University of the Cumberlands won the title with 772 points while Lindsey Wilson had 548 points. 
 
The Tigers will have four weeks to prepare for the NAIA National Championship when the team will travel back to Knoxville, Tennessee.
