CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Getting back to action after earning the Mid-South Conference Tournament Championship, the Campbellsville University men's volleyball team will begin their trek towards a national championship as they begin the NAIA Tournament Tuesday.
The Tigers will begin their tournament in pool play as the top seed in Pool C as they will face Indiana Tech Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. CT in Des Moines, Iowa at the Iowa Events Center.

TIGER NOTES
- Campbellsville was able to win their three tournament games against Midway (3-0), Webber International (3-0), and Georgetown (3-2) to claim their first ever MSC Tournament Championship in program history.
- The win over Georgetown came in a dramatic five sets that saw CU need to win the final two sets to win the match, including playing the fifth set without starting middle blocker Ramon Matos.
- The tournament wins made the Tigers 26-3 overall on the season, breaking their previous season-high total of wins for the program, which was 23 in the COVID-19 shortened season of 2020.
- Freshman outside hitter Ho Yin Leung proved to shine in the biggest moments as he led CU in kills during the tournament with 32 kills over the three matches, including a team-high tying 15 in the championship match.
SCOUTING INDIANA TECH
- The Warriors will head into the tournament with a 16-5 overall record after finishing as the runner-up in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference to Lourdes University, who went 2-1 against IIT this season including a 3-1 win in the WHAC Tournament Championship.
- Indiana Tech was able to hand Campbellsville one of their three losses on the season in CU's second match of the season and the season opener for the Warriors.
- Four players have over 100 kills on the attack for Indiana Tech led by the 252 from Daynte Stewart followed by Mason Milan (193), Dante Siracusa (142), and Chase Christiansen (100).
- Specialty stats are led by the 574 assists from setter Brandon Jones and the 272 digs from Joey Hermes as Jones also adds 138 digs on the season.
LOOKING AHEAD
- Campbellsville will have Wednesday off while Indiana Tech and Vanguard play each other before the Tigers and Lions match up for the final match of pool play in Pool C on Thursday.
