CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – More additions keep rolling in for the Campbellsville University men's volleyball team as outside hitter Bas van Houten has signed his letter of intent to join CU for the 2021-22 season.
 
The Netherlands native stands at 6-2 as an outside hitter/opposite from Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. While competing on the court, van Houten and his team finished as the three-time Dutch Champions, Regional Champions, and Cup Winners.
 
This will be the first member of the Tiger volleyball team to hail from Netherlands as there have been eight previous signees that have come from the neighboring country of Germany including three in this year's class and others in years prior.
 
Bas van Houten joins the 2021 recruiting class along with Caden Carrasco, Kendall Walter, Andrew Steinmetz, John-Marcos Gonzalez, Antonio Cintron, Erik Malek, Niklas Held, and Moritz Frauendorf.
