BOWLING GREEN, KY – Lady Tigers have been voted to finish sixth in the Mid-South Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll.
Tennessee Southern -- formerly Martin Methodist -- earned 116 points in the poll and nine first-place votes. The Firehawks captured the MSC regular season title and last season and reached the quarterfinals of the NAIA National Championship.
Campbellsville (Ky.) is sixth in the poll with 70 points. The team finished the season with 24 goals overall while also having 13 assists.
Lady Tigers return their top goal scorers from last season with
Abigail Proctor and
Jessie Bryson returning to the lineup.
Campbellsville will open the season in Chicago, Ill. on August 28
th against Roosevelt. That match will begin at 7 p.m.
