BOWLING GREEN, KY – Campbellsville finishes out the Mid-South Conference Fall Invitational 1-1 on the weekend with a (6-1) win over UT Southern and falling (7-0) to Cumberland University.
The Tigers were able to breeze through UT Southern (6-1). Lucas Le Dorze-Gilbaud and
Nicolas Weisner were the only pair to earn a doubles win on the day. They won (6-2) and Campbellsville went down (1-0) heading into singles.
In singles play Campbellsville swept UT Southern.
Nicolas Andrade won the first with a (6-2, 6-0) win. Weisner had to work out of his first set of play and won (6-4, 6-0).
Hernan Toledo was able to pull out the (6-2, 6-3),
Sebastian Toledo swept his opponent in two sets (6-2, 6-2).
Gilbaud was the lone Tiger to be pushed to three sets in his and made a decisive third set win (4-6, 6-2, 10-3). Towata won the final match of singles play against UT Southern with a (6-1, 6-3) victory.
In the match against Cumberland University, Campbellsville was unable to get anything going at the net being swept on the afternoon (7-0).
