KANSAS CITY, MO – Campbellsville is still receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25 leading up to the conference championship.
The Tigers have 10 votes to their name heading into the Mid-South Conference Championship next weekend. The team was able to post the second fastest team average time in program history at 19:35.00 at the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational last weekend. The 1-5 spread of 35.2 seconds was the closest spread since the season opener at Indiana Wesleyan.
Campbellsville will be chasing down University of the Cumberlands at this year's championship. The Patriots are the returning champions from the 2021 season, and they are currently ranked 23
rd in the country after being ranked 20
th in the previous poll.
At the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational Campbellsville found themselves only 55 points behind the Patriots.
The Mid-South Conference Championships will be held Friday November 4
th in Bowling Green, KY.
