BOWLING GREEN, KY. – Christy Shank, a sophomore from Indian River, Mich., finished third overall this afternoon leading Campbellsville at the Mid-South Conference Championship. Shank's finish is the highest since 2008 when Miranda Meeks won the individual title for the women's program. 
 
Christy finished the race with a time of 19:21.2, earning First Team All-Conference. Hailey Shank would follow shortly behind her sister, finishing in 20:13.6 and placing 11^th. Right behind her in 12^th was Emma Steff crossing the line in 20:17.5. Both Hailey and Emma earned Second Team All-Conference. 

Nina Daman was the next Tiger to finish inside the Top-35 with her time of 21:20.5. Rounding out the top five was T'Lea Scott ending with a 21:24.5 time, seconds behind Daman. Campbellsville's 1-5 spread was 2:03. 
 
Marlena Sipes and Meredith Wilson rounded out the seven with times of 21:44.5 and 22:20.2, respectively. The Lady Tigers finished third overall as a team out of 11 schools. 
 
Christy Shank earned an automatic qualifier to the 2022 NAIA Women's Cross Country Championships. This will take place in Tallahassee, Florida on November 18^th. Campbellsville as a team will now play the waiting game as the NAIA team qualifiers will be announced by November 8^th at 6 p.m. ET. The Lady Tigers currently sit in the receiving votes category.
