Lady Tigers season comes to a close in the round of 16 at the NAIA Championships

Box Score SIOUX CITY, IA – Lady Tigers postseason run ended Friday evening in their matchup against Dordt University falling 78-43.
 
Kaitlynn Wilks was the difference maker for the team during the game. Wilks collected 11 points and four rebounds on the night. Lauren Lee was the next closest scorer for the Lady Tigers with seven points. 
 
The two teams came out the first quarter with a close score with Dordt leading 18-13. Dordt came out the second quarter hot when they outscored the Lady Tigers 20-9. 
 
Campbellsville was unable to answer offensively in the second half of play only scoring four points in the third quarter and 17 points in the fourth. 
 
Ashtyn Veerbeek and Karly Gustafson led the Defenders of Dordt with 16 points apiece.
 
Lady Tigers won the Mid-South Conference Championship back on February 28th over Georgetown College defeating the Tigers 70-68. They made their way to the final NAIA site with a win over Benedictine College 74-44.
 
Campbellsville finishes off the season with an overall record of 31-5 and an 18-4 record conference play.
