Tigers fall on the road to the Phoenix 5-2

LEBANON, TN. – The Tigers were unable to get things going against the Phoenix over the weekend falling on the road with a final score of 5-2.
 
Hernan Toledo and Nicolas Andrade were the lone victors on the weekend.
 
Toledo had no trouble in his matchup in the three spot not dropping a single game and winning (6-0, 6-0).
 
 Andrade was pushed to a three set match in his singles play. Andrade won the first set (7-6) and would fall in the second set (6-4). He would go on to win in the third set (1-0).
 
In doubles play, Jan Stalin and Matus Sevcik were the team to put up the biggest fight against the Phoenix. The duo fell by a close score of (7-5).
 
Campbellsville will return to action on Wednesday March 23rd when they travel to Owensboro, KY for two non-conference matchups against Oakland City University and Brescia University. They will play Oakland City at 11 a.m. and Brescia at 2 p.m.
