KANSAS CITY, MO – Campbellsville making early noise before the first race of the season with receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll.
Lady Tigers are ranked second inside the Mid-South Conference in the preseason poll and are receiving four votes in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll.
Many key pieces return to the lineup this season including 5,000m and 10,000m NCCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Champion
Emma Steff.
Hailie LaMar,
Christy Shank, and
Hailey Shank all return and have times ranked inside the Campbellsville 5K top ten list.
Campbellsville has University of the Cumberlands within eyesight in the polls. The Patriots are outside the top 25 still receiving votes standing at 28
th in the polls.
First test of the season comes in the season opener when the team travels to the Indiana Wesleyan Twilight Invitational.
Christy Shank put herself inside the top ten in that meet last season dipping under the 19-minute barrier at 18:59.30.
