Zach Flake to be first men's wrestling alumnus entered into CU Hall of Fame

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Zach Flake is set to be inducted into the Campbellsville University Athletics Hall of Fame on October 1st, 2022 as the first men's wrestling alumnus to receive the honor.
 
Flake was the first individual NAIA National Champion for Tiger Wrestling in the 2006-07 season in the 141 lbs. weight class. He finished with a 20-2 record during that sophomore season and won in a 7-6 decision over Brad Cooper from University of the Cumberlands in the championship bout.
 
Flake was a three-time All-American during his time in a Tiger singlet as well as earning another trip to the championship bout his senior year where he was the NAIA National Runner-Up and earned a sixth place finish during his junior campaign.
 
Flake has been growing the sport ever since he graduated from Campbellsville University. He started his own youth wrestling camp and program where he now resides in Colorado.
 
Flake is set to join Bailey Dillender on October 1st, 2022 when the Campbellsville University Athletics Hall of Fame class will be inducted. The ceremony will be held before kickoff of the Fighting Tiger Football game on Homecoming weekend where the Tigers meet Faulkner University. Kickoff is set for 2:01 p.m. ET.
