KANSAS CITY, MO – Lady Tigers are on the clasp of breaking into the NAIA Top 25 being ranked #26 in the latest polls and are on the high end of receiving votes with 107 votes.
In the first two meets of the season Campbellsville has kept the 1-5 spread under one minute with their best coming in the season opener of 32.2 seconds at Indiana Wesleyan and most recently at Taylor University with 57.8 second spread.
Campbellsville ran the sixth fastest time in program history with a 19:57 average in the season opener. The top four for the team were within seven seconds of each other.
University of the Cumberlands propelled themselves into the top 25 rankings and have landed at 20
th in the polls. Thomas More University has found their way into the low end of receiving votes earning three.
Campbellsville has two more meets in the regular season. They return to action on October 1
st at the Greater Louisville Classic and conclude the regular season with the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational on October 22
nd.
