COLUMBIA, KY – The Tigers hit the pool one last time at Lindsey Wilson College on Saturday before they head to the Mid-South Conference Championships.
Campbellsville began the meet on a high note in the 800-yard freestyle relay.

Llewellyn Crewe-Brown,
Luis Castro, and
Sebastian Escobar were only two seconds behind the win at 7:26.44, while first place was at 7:24.38. Escobar beat the field by .19 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle at 22.15.
Logan Pisula earned the bronze medal in the 200-yard breaststroke this weekend. Pisula kept event spits throughout the race and touched the wall in 2:43.64. Castro followed Pisula's lead for a 3rd place finish in the 500-yard freestyle. He was .38 seconds away from the runner-up position in a time of 5:05.16, with 2nd coming in at 5:04.78.
Jude White was the next Tiger to earn a top-three finish on the day. White swam in the 400-yard IM while swimming a time of 5:03.70. Escobar beat out Fabio Martin Rojo for the win in the 200-yard freestyle at the wall. Escobar won in 1:44.15, with Rojo coming in at 1:44.25.
Campbellsville threw Crewe-Brown, Escobar, Castro, and
Bosco Barrero in the 400-yard medley relay for a 2nd-place finish time of 3:51.68. Castro continued his busy day in the 1650-yard freestyle with a 3rd-place finish of 17:21.16. White returned for his second 3rd place finish of the day in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:12.37.
Escobar jumped atop the winner's podium once again in the 100-yard freestyle in 47.97. Campbellsville swept the top three spots in the 200-yard butterfly.
Triston Edmonds won the event in 2:15.60,
Grant Luckett was 2nd in 2:28.26, Barrero was 3rd overall in 2:30.37.
Crewe-Brown and Escobar finished out top three scoring for Campbellsville. Crewe-Brown finished 3rd in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:06.08. Escobar won his final event of the meet in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:01.99, with second coming close in 2:02.69.
Campbellsville will have the weekend off before heading to the Mid-South Conference Championships in Kingsport, TN, February 1-4.
