WARSAW, IN – After receiving the Ray Bullock Award Thursday evening,
Nina Daman led the Tigers to a runner-up finish at the NCCAA National Championships.
Daman went sub-20 for the first time in her career on the cross country course. She placed 13th overall with a time of 19:47.70.
Hailey Shank was 15th coming in at 20:04.20.
Brianna Collins and
Emma Steff came in as the 3-4. Collins was 23rd in the race in 20:48.40, while Steff was 25th overall in 21:04.60.
Meredith Wilson finished out scoring for Campbellsville in the five-spot, placing 30th in 21:25.30.
Madison Welch and
Cailyn Godsey brought the final spots in for the Tigers. Welch was 41st in the race with her time of 22:22.50, while Godsey was 50th in 24:44.60.
Campbellsville placed 2
nd overall and finished with 72 points, a team average time of 20:38.04 and a 1-5 spread of 1:37.60.
This concludes the cross country season for the team. They will look ahead towards the indoor track season in a few weeks.
