Tigers take over against Toccoa Falls from the jump, 110-81

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – On Saturday night, the Tigers hosted the Toccoa Falls College Eagles. With multiple players breaking their season records, the Tigers took a 29-point win over the Screaming Eagles, 110-81.

In the opening seconds of the half, the Screaming Eagles made the first basket of the game, however, Darius Harding retaliated for the Tigers with a layup of his own. Although Toccoa Falls earned an early lead on the game, Campbellsville did not fall too far behind, catching up and claiming the winning end of the scoreboard. Cameron Willis came off the bench with a three-pointer assisted by Jace Wallace, widening the Tigers advantage over the Screaming Eagles. Halfway through the first half, Toccoa Falls used their opportunities at the charity stripe to reduce their deficit on the scoreboard. However, Noah Gordon collected 11 points for Campbellsville, preserving the Tigers' lead. Jordan Graham scored his first layup of the game, as well as aiding Campbellsville with four rebounds. At the end of the first half, the Tigers held a 21-point advantage over the Screaming Eagles, 54-33.

Going into the second half, Campbellsville collected 20 bench points compared to the Screaming Eagles' 12 and 34 points in the paint over their 12.

Much like the first, the Screaming Eagles made the first points of the second half, but Chandler Clements scored a bucket of his own, counteracting Toccoa Falls' offense. Darius Harding collected his third assist of the game, aiding Jace Wallace with another bucket. An eight-point run by the Screaming Eagles brought them closer to the Tigers on the scoreboard, but Gordon's opportunities at the charity stripe amplified Campbellsville's lead to a 21-point advantage. The Tigers' offensive control of the ball propelled them forward in the lead, with Tyrelle Hunt and Jay Milburn' relentless buckets, assisted by Gordon and Wallace. Campbellsville reached triple digits on the scoreboard for the second time in the season with Wallace going two-for-two at the free-throw line. The Tigers closed the game with a 110-81 victory over the Screaming Eagles.

At the end of the game, Campbellsville dominated the game in multiple categories collecting 24 assists to their 14, 45 bench points to their 26, and holding the lead for 92% of the game compared to Toccoa's 6.5%. Multiple players recorded new season highs, including Harding with his four assists and seven rebounds, Milburn with 21 points, Graham with six rebounds, and Gordon with six assists.
