Tigers sweep Grenadiers 7-0 over the weekend

NEW ALBANY, IN – The Tigers had no trouble getting past IU Southeast on Sunday by defeating the Grenaiders 7-0.

Nicolas Andrade and Nahuel Hernando earned the first victory of the afternoon with a (6-2) win. Maximiliano Roman and Hernan Toledo were the second pair of Tigers to earn a victory in doubles with a (6-2) victory. 

Roman, Andrade, Hernando brought in more points for the Tigers sweep. Roman defeated his opponent in two sets of (6-4, 6-2), Andrade won in two sets in (6-3, 6-1), Hernando did not concede a point in his matchup and won (6-0, 6-0).

Sebastian Toledo, Mario Sanchez rounded out the scoring for the Tigers. Toledo made light work of his opponent, defeating him in a (6-1, 6-1) bout, and Sanchez won in two sets with no points conceded (6-0, 6-0).

Campbellsville will return to the court on Sunday, February 19th, for a matchup at Bellarmine University at 3:30 p.m.
