Wilks earns Mid-South Conference Player of the Year honors

BOWLING GREEN, KYKaitlynn Wilks becomes the seventh Lady Tiger in program history to earn Mid-South Conference Player of the Year honors.

Wilks has led the team all season in scoring averaging 16.2 PPG and averaging 66.3% from the field. On the defensive side of the ball, she also leads the Lady Tigers in rebounds with 5.5 per game.

She scored a career-high of 24 points against St. Thomas University at the St. Thomas Classic Tournament earlier in the season. Kaitlynn has had seven games this year in which she has scored 20+ points.

Campbellsville has an overall record of 27-1 on the season and is on a current 13-game winning streak. Campbellsville recently jumped up to its highest ranking in the most recent NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll to #2 in the nation. 
 
Lady Tigers won the Mid-South Conference regular season title with their win against the University of the Cumberlands 93-77 in the regular season finale.
 
The team is ranked in the top 10 in six statistical categories this season.
