BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Tigers picked up six All-Conference performers this season with
JoVeaun Banks and
Jakob Zum Kolk leading the way with first team All-Conference honors.
Zum Kolk has been the Tigers leading attacker all season with 263 kills. He has appeared in all 24 matches this season. Zum Kolk has collected 95 digs and 23 total blocks. Banks has been an all-around threat this season for teams, having 95 kills and being one of the team's top blockers with 72 this season.
Diego Betancourt,
Alvaro Grande,
Andres Laboy, and
Fernand Morales were named second team All-Conference. Betancourt has been the primary setter for the Tigers this season with 786 assists in 2023. On the defensive side of the ball, he has been able to collect 86 digs.
Grande found his rhythm midway through the season and was able to bring the Tigers 88 kills and 51 total blocks.
Laboy is one of Campbellsville's go-to men for defensive play. Laboy is second on the team in digs with 163 on the season. Morales leads the way for Campbellsville in the digs category with 222 in the 2023 season.
Campbellsville is set to take the court in the Mid-South Conference tournament on Friday, March 31
st in Bowling Green, KY. They will face off against Rio Grande. That match will begin at 10 a.m. ET at Ephram White Park.
