CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The #12 Lady Tigers hosted the Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions on Friday night. Campbellsville's offensive onslaught with more than ten times the number of shots as Freed-Hardeman resulted in the Lady Tigers' seventh consecutive victory against the Lady Lions, 9-0.
Merel Houweling scored the first goal of the match only two minutes into the game. Marta Prieto followed shortly after with two back-to-back goals assisted by Lina Berrah, expanding the Lady Tigers' advantage while still limiting the Lady Lions to zero. Only 64 seconds later, Oddny Helgadottir scored Campbellsville's fourth goal, resulting in Berrah's third assist of the night. Sayu Morisawa came off the bench halfway through the first half with another goal for the Lady Tigers. At the end of the first half, Campbellsville led, 5-0.
Less than ten minutes into the second half, Prieto scored her third goal of the contest, amplifying the Lady Tigers' lead. A couple of minutes later, Alex Glennie came onto the field, scoring her second goal of the season. With less than 15 minutes left on the clock, McKenzie Settles and Molly Metcalfe each collected another goal for Campbellsville.
The Lady Tigers will be back in action, traveling to Georgetown, Kentucky, to battle the Georgetown College Tigers on Friday, October 25th, beginning at 6 p.m. ET.

- Campbellsville exceeded Freed-Hardeman in most statistical categories of the game: assists (6-0), shots (40-3), shots on goal (24-1), and corners (8-0).
- Prieto led the Lady Tigers with three goals and five shots, Berrah with four assists and five shots, and Helgadottir recorded a new season high for shots in a game with nine shots. Sydney Hall made her fifth appearance of the season, matching her season-highs for saves and shots faced, collecting one each throughout tonight's match.
- The Lady Tigers have only lost four games against the Lady Lions since their first game in 2002. The last time Campbellsville lost against Freed-Hardeman was during the 2010 season. Tonight's victory marks the Lady Tigers' seventh consecutive win against the Lady Lions since then.
