BARBOURVILLE, KY – Campbellsville came away with multiple podium finishes over the weekend against Lindsey Wilson and Union Commonwealth.
Yuri Prokopchuk set the school record in the 100-yard breaststroke on Saturday with a winning time of 57.56.
Luis Castro came away with a silver medal finish in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:03.56.
Llewellyn Crewe-Brown came close to a victory in the 100-yard backstroke earning the silver medal in 55.98. Castro earned the bronze medal in the 1000-yard freestyle in 10:05.99.
Ian Lopez and
Andreu Jaén Serra both posted third place finishes in their events. Lopez came in third in the 50-yard freestyle in 22.43, Serra was third in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:46.01.
Crewe-Brown narrowly missed a top three finish in the 100-yard butterfly placing fourth overall in 54.37. For both of the Tiger relays they posted podium finishes. In the 200-yard freestyle relay, Lopez, Crewe-Brown,
Martin Venegas, and Serra placed second in 1:30.46. In the 200-yard medley relay, Campbellsville was third overall with Lopez, Prokopchuk, Crewe-Brown, and Serra swimming a time of 1:38.25.
The Tigers will return to the water on Friday, November 8th in the Powell Athletic Center at 5:30 p.m. ET for a dual against Midway University.
