CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The #8 Tigers climbed the mountains of southeastern Tennessee to take part in the annual Rocky Top Duals over the weekend. There, Shad Slone emerged undefeated and the Tigers blanked two of their opponents to go 3-1 overall. 

Slone moved to 12-1 on the year with his 3-0 performances against #1 Life's #8 Alexander Couto (whom he bested via technical fall 20-4), as well as pinning his Andrew College opponent in 1:11 and his Montreat College foe in just :24 seconds.

• In the 157lb. division, Jake Hurst went 2-0 on Saturday, picking up a decision win over Truett-McConnell and also a pin over Montreat. Lody Cheatham was 2-0 too, winning with pins in both matches against Montreat and Truett-McConnell. Izaeah Beavers, Brice Parks, and Joel Hatchett were all 2-1 with their lone loss coming to Life University.
• Against Life University, three bouts went down to the wire via decision: Bryant Beane came up short to #3 Pat Gould 5-1, Cal Beadling lost by two points at 8-6, and Tyler Muldrew's match went into sudden victory against the Running Eagle he squared off against.
