PULASKI, TN – The Tigers earned one final victory before heading into the Christmas break with a 130-102 win over UT Southern Friday evening.
Campbellsville started the night with a win in the 200-meter medley relay.

Yuri Prokopchuk,
Llewellyn Crewe-Brown, and
Andreu Jaén Serra won the event in 1:51.03. Jaen Serra and
Luis Castro finished 1-2 in the 800-meter freestyle. Jaen Serra won the event in 9:04.85, and Castro was runner-up in 9:21.78.
Castro bounced back in the 100-meter backstroke with a victory over Cameron Holmes in 1:06.09, 4.13 seconds faster than Holmes. Prokopchuk had no trouble earning his first individual win of the day in the dual meet in the 100-meter breaststroke. Prokopchuk won by 7.03 seconds over second place in a time of 1:03.84.
The Tigers stole 1-4 in the 50-meter butterfly. Lopez earned the title in 27.46, Crewe-Brown came in as the runner-up in 27.57,
Bosco Barrero was the bronze medalist in 27.63, and
Jackson Willett placed 4th in 28.40. Lucca Motta and
Garrett Schmidt placed 2nd and 3rd in the 50-meter freestyle. Motta was 2nd in 27.40, and Schmidt was 3rd in 28.50.
Martin Venegas won the 100-meter freestyle in 57.67, .55 seconds over his opponent. Prokopchuk and
Logan Pisula were 1-2 in the 50-meter breaststoke. Prokopchuk won in 28.59, and Pisula stole 2nd in 33.72. Campbellsville had two podium finishers in the 400-meter freestyle. Jaen Serra won the event in 4:21.91, and Crewe-Brown was 2nd in 4:26.70.
Campbellsville completed the final event before the Christmas break with a win in the 200-meter freestyle relay. Lopez, Jaen Serra, Willett, and Crewe-Brown won the event in 1:41.57.
The Tigers will return to the water after Christmas break before classes begin on Friday, January 10th, at the Centre Invitational.
