OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Tigers came out strong and never looked back Tuesday night, dominantly sweeping the Brescia Bearcats.

- The Tigers were dominant from the service line, firing 15 aces as a team, led by Jana Krstić and Maddie Pennington with three apiece.
- Campbellsville's offense was highly efficient, hitting .329 for the match while the defense held Brescia to a -.050 hitting percentage.
- The middle blockers were a force, with Madison Farmer tallying seven kills on .500 hitting and Sophie Hill adding 10 kills and seven block assists.
- The Tigers will be back in action Thursday as they host the (RV) Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders in the Battle of Highway 55. First serve is set for 7 p.m. ET.
Madison Farmer opened up the match with a kill to set the tone early. Campbellsville jumped out to a hot start, fueled by kills from Elif Akcivi. Maddie Pennington added an ace to extend the Tigers' advantage, and Kati Vest helped close out the first set, 25-10.
The second set saw Brescia strike first, but the Tigers quickly battled back with a kill from Angi Gstach. The Bearcats took a brief lead before Campbellsville found its rhythm again. Pennington added two more aces, while the Tigers capitalized on Bearcat errors to shift momentum. Jana Krstić joined the serving pressure with an ace, and a massive block from Farmer ignited the Tiger bench. Sophie Hill put the finishing touch on the set with a kill, giving Campbellsville the 25-18 win.
In the third, Brescia held tough, maintaining a lead until late in the set. A big block from Hill, followed by stops from Gstach and Hill, helped tie the score at 21. From there, Mya Leach took over — delivering an ace and a kill to push the Tigers across the finish line. Campbellsville took the third set 25-22, completing the sweep.
