  • The Tigers' bench was the dominant force, outscoring the Bearcats' reserves 52-21.
  • Campbellsville's team play was its biggest advantage, dishing out 28 assists on 34 made baskets, compared to Brescia's eight total assists.
  • Taveon Smith, Javaughn Smith, and Eli Brooks all tied for the team high with five assists each.
  • This is Campbellsville's first 100-point game of the season; the last time the Tigers scored 100 points against Brescia was in 2017.
  • The Tigers (7-0) will be back in action, taking the road to Rio Grande, Ohio, to battle the WVU Tech Golden Bears in the Bevo Francis Classic on Friday, November 21st, beginning at 1 p.m. ET.
From the opening minutes, Eli Brooks and Dalton Kramer asserted the Tigers' dominance on the court. Brescia retaliated in the paint, but back-to-back three-pointers by Jay Milburn and Javaughn Smith, both assisted by Brooks, counteracted their efforts and pushed the Tigers to a 12-2 lead.

Brescia collected a couple of layups and free throws, but Kramer and Ra Briggs' action from beyond the arc only increased the lead, with a Kramer three pushing the score to 20-7 at the 11:21 mark.

Brescia cut Campbellsville's lead to five (23-18). However, the Bearcats were unable to stop Javaughn Smith, who answered with a three-pointer to reopen the gap to ten. Brescia's fouling continued to bring the Tigers to the free-throw line, where they shot 8-of-9 (88.9%) in the half. Campbellsville led 42-28 at the half.

Coming into the second half, the Bearcats opened with free throws. Both teams went on to exchange layups and threes, but Taveon Smith's relentless shooting swiftly became a pivotal strength for Campbellsville. Smith, who scored 15 of his game-high 22 points in the second half, hit a crucial three at the 13:18 mark to extend the lead.

The Tigers' superior team play was on full display as they pulled away. Benjamin Yombi came into the game for his first bucket, and Evan Frederick's back-to-back baskets extended Campbellsville's advantage to its largest of the night, 26 points.

As the time on the clock expired, the Bearcats attempted to chip at their deficit. Cannon Young came off the bench, grabbing a skillful offensive rebound and scoring a layup. In the final minute, Donavyn Knox hit a three, and Hayden Blakeman followed with a layup, bringing Campbellsville to the triple-digit mark and closing the game with a 100-76 victory.
