WILMORE, Ky.- After a demanding weekend of back-to-back meets, the Tigers men's swim team powered to a 112-75 dual victory over Asbury.
The meet opened with momentum in the 400 Medley Relay, as the A relay of Jacob Isacson, Bikash Kumal, Luis Castro, and Kyle Kleinhans took first in 3:43.67. The B relay also made an impact, finishing third with solid swims from Domantas Petraitis, Kase Moore, Kirkland May, and Lucca Motta.
In distance events, Jaen Serra led the charge, winning the 1000 Free with a time of 9:58.80 and later taking the 400 IM in 4:33.41, showing consistency across both races. Castro followed closely in second in the 1000 Free.
Adrien Cantemerle had a standout day, hitting an NAIA provisional cut in the 200 Free with a 1:45.71 (PB) and another personal best in the 100 Free at 48.24 for second place.
In the sprints, Martin Venegas led the Tigers with a win in the 50 Free (22.74 PB), while Petraitis, Motta, Wilson, Peeden, Schmidt, and Wolfe all posted season or personal bests.
Kumal shone in the breaststroke and butterfly, winning the 100 Breast (1:00.42 SB) and placing second in the 100 Fly (54.56 SB). Adam Peeden also recorded a personal best in the 100 Breast.
The Tigers swept the 100 Back, with Petraitis, Kleinhans, and Isacson finishing one-two-three.
Closing the meet, the 400 Free Relay of Jaen Serra, Cantemerle, Venegas, and Castro put up a strong 3:17.34 to finish second and cap off a team effort.
The Tigers now turn their focus to preparing for the Speedo Midseason Invite, set for November 21st through November 23rd at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.
