CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Campbellsville University men's basketball team suffered its first setback of the 2025-26 season on Tuesday night, falling to the Indiana University Southeast Grenadiers, 67-60, inside the Powell Athletic Center. Despite holding a double-digit halftime lead, a cold-shooting second half allowed the Grenadiers to rally and hand the Tigers their first loss after an 11-0 start.
- Tyshay Epps led the Tigers in scoring, finishing with 16 points on 5-of-15 shooting, including three triples.
- Dalton Kramer joined Epps in double figures with 14 points while adding a team-high three steals on the defensive end.

The Tigers opened the game engaging in a defensive battle, with neither team finding an offensive groove early. IU Southeast struck first in the paint, but
Dalton Kramer got Campbellsville on the board with a driving layup and a free throw. The first half remained tight until the Tigers began to find success from the perimeter.
Midway through the first half,
Marcellus Vail and
Ra Briggs provided a spark off the bench, connecting on three-pointers to give the Tigers a slight edge. With under eight minutes to play in the half, Tyshay Epps connected from deep to push the lead to 22-18. Campbellsville maintained the momentum, utilizing a balanced attack.
Javaughn Smith hit a three-pointer, and Kramer added a layup to extend the lead.
The Tigers closed the half strong. With just four seconds remaining on the clock, Epps drilled a three-pointer to send Campbellsville into the locker room with their largest lead of the game, 41-31. The Tigers shot 44.4% from three-point range in the opening stanza.
The second half proved to be a different story. The Tigers' offense went cold, managing only one field goal in the first five minutes of the period. IU Southeast chipped away at the lead, utilizing their size inside to score layups and second-chance points.
The Grenadiers tied the game at 49-49 with 9:05 remaining with a layup. Moments later, Kramer answered with a three-pointer to briefly reclaim the lead, 52-49. However, IU Southeast responded with a three-pointer of their own to take their first lead of the half, 53-52, at the 6:46 mark.
The final five minutes featured high tension and defensive stops. Epps converted a layup and a free throw to give Campbellsville a slim 60-58 advantage with 3:58 to play. However, the Tigers would not score again.
Tied at 60-60 with 1:24 remaining, IU Southeast hit a decisive three-pointer to put the Grenadiers up 63-60. Campbellsville had multiple looks to tie or cut into the lead in the final minute, but could not get shots to fall. The Grenadiers sealed the game at the free-throw line, closing on a 7-0 run to secure the 67-60 victory.
