KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Campbellsville Tigers, on the back of their 54-point victory against the Thomas Night Hawks, cemented their second-highest rank in program history, coming in at #13 in the 2025 Netting Professionals NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll, the national office announced Monday afternoon.
With their impressive showing defeating the Night Hawks, the Campbellsville Fighting Tiger Football's offense vaulted to 10th in the nation with their 41.8 points per game. They're top five in passing touchdowns (3rd with 13), passing completions (3rd with 90), passing first downs (4th with 56), total offense (4th with 1,965 yards), passing yards (5th with 1,181), redzone touchdowns (5th at 14-18), and scoring (5th with 167 points). They're just outside the top five in rushing yards (6th with 784).
Defensively, the Tigers lead the country with their seven fumbles recovered. They're also 5th with their 13 sacks, and
Chase Maynard has the team-high with four. Against the Night Hawks, the smothering defense allowed only 124 total yards.
Two MSC teams rated higher than the Tigers in the poll: the #8 Blue Raiders of Lindsey Wilson and the #12 Georgetown Tigers.
