CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.- The Tigers hosted the #3 Lindsey Wilson University Blue Raiders on Wednesday night for this year's Battle of Highway 55. Although the Tigers managed to score in the last minute of the game, the Blue Raiders took the victory, 2-1.

• Mihlali Blesi led Campbellsville with five shots and three shots on goal.
• Malte Schou collected seven saves throughout the contest.
• The Tigers' goal at the end of the game has been the only goal the Blue Raiders have allowed during the second half all season.
• Tonight's game is Campbellsville's eleventh loss against Lindsey Wilson; the Tigers have not won a game against the Blue Raiders since 2015, their only regular win against them (Campbellsville won on PKs in 2016).
• The Tigers will be back in action, traveling to McKenzie, Tennessee to battle the Bethel University Wildcats on Tuesday, September 30 beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

Mihlali Blesi opened the game with avid offensive dominance, collecting three shots and one header shot in the first 20 minutes. With five minutes left on the clock, the Blue Raiders collected three shots and two goals, taking the lead and closing the half with the Tigers trailing, 2-0.

Both teams' defenses came into the second half, preventing the other from coming close to scoring. Lindsey Wilson's offense strengthened their efforts halfway through the second period of play, pushing towards the box with several shots. However, goalie Malte Schou relentlessly saved their attempts to climb higher up on the advantage. Harry Freeman put the Tigers on the scoreboard with one minute left on the clock. However, it was not enough to catch up with the Blue Raiders' lead, losing the game, 2-1.
