KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Campbellsville University men's wrestling team maintained its #7 standing in the fifth regular-season edition of the NAIA Men's Wrestling Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released Thursday by the national office. Despite a challenging run at the NWCA National Duals, the Tigers secured 154 team points to remain a top-10 fixture.
- Campbellsville holds firm at #7 in the latest NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, accumulating 154 team points.
- Ten Tigers are ranked individually, highlighted by the debut of two new wrestlers in the national rankings.
- #4 Jasitin Kubwimana (165 lbs.) and #7 Shadrick Slone (174 lbs.) climbed into the top eight of their respective weight classes.
- #13 Ashton Boswell (197 lbs.) broke into the rankings after a standout performance at the National Duals.
- The Tigers return to action on Thursday, Jan. 16, for a Mid-South Conference dual against Georgetown College.
Ten Tigers feature in the individual rankings, with significant movement following the team's 11th-place finish at the National Duals.
Jasitin Kubwimana continues his ascent, moving up to #4 in the 165-pound weight class. The junior went undefeated at the National Duals, including victories over two top-10 opponents.
Shad Slone also climbed the ladder, rising three spots to #7 at 174 pounds after posting a 3-2 record with two pins in Cedar Falls.
Nick Moore made one of the largest jumps for Campbellsville, vaulting five spots to #9 at 141 pounds. Moore's rise comes on the heels of a gritty win over a ranked opponent from Cumberlands during the dual championships.
Two Tigers made their debut in the national rankings this week.
Ashton Boswell entered the poll at #13 at 197 pounds. Boswell impressed at the National Duals with a 4-1 record, including a fall in the placement match against Corban.
Cal Beadling also cracked the top 25, checking in at #23 in the 149-pound division.

The Tigers will look to defend their ranking on the road this week, traveling to Georgetown, Ky., to face Mid-South Conference foe Georgetown College on Thursday, Jan. 16.
