GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The Campbellsville University men's basketball team went on the road to conclude the regular season, battling the 15th-ranked Georgetown College Tigers on Saturday afternoon at the Davis-Reid Alumni Gym. Despite capitalizing at the free-throw line to stay within striking distance, Campbellsville was unable to overcome Georgetown's unrelenting second-half execution, falling 76-61.
- Dalton Kramer had a dominating night offensively, leading Campbellsville with a game-high 23 points while shooting a perfect 9-of-9 from the charity stripe.
- With intense effort on the glass, Parker Jones collected a team-high 10 rebounds, including eight critical offensive boards.
- TyShay Epps was the only other Tiger to reach double figures, pouring in 11 points and connecting on a pair of three-pointers.
- As a team, the Campbellsville Tigers displayed excellent discipline at the free-throw line, shooting 83.3 percent (15-of-18) for the game.

Starting off the game,
Marcellus Vail was sent to the line before the opening tip due to an administrative technical foul assessed to Georgetown, sinking the free throw to give the Tigers an immediate 1-0 lead.
Jay Milburn established himself as a defensive threat moments later, swatting away a shot on the opposing Tigers' first offensive possession. Both teams came out trading baskets, with
Dalton Kramer quickly establishing himself as an offensive weapon, proving dangerous from various positions on the court.
With under five minutes left in the first half, the Georgetown offense found its rhythm, pushing out to a 10-point advantage, 34-24, following a layup by Aden Nyekan. However, Campbellsville was able to fight back in the final four minutes. Fueled by three-pointers from Kramer,
TyShay Epps, and
Javaughn Smith, the Tigers orchestrated a late surge to cut the deficit to just three points, entering the locker room down 37-34.
Georgetown opened the second half aggressively, with Isaiah Mason scoring four quick points to stretch the lead back out.
Parker Jones made his presence known, recording Campbellsville's first points of the period at the charity stripe and adding a block on the defensive side of the ball. As the half unfolded, Campbellsville struggled to narrow the gap on the scoreboard, shooting just 32.0 percent from the field over the final 20 minutes. Efforts from Epps and Kramer kept Campbellsville in the game, but Georgetown maintained a fast pace and executed effectively on offense.
Although Campbellsville gave a hard-fought effort to create momentum, the opposing Tigers' defense continued to apply pressure, limiting CU to just 2-of-14 (14.3 percent) from beyond the arc in the second half. As the game came to an end, Georgetown generated its largest margin of the afternoon, extending its lead to 15 points. The outstanding play of Kramer was unable to completely carry the Tigers, as Georgetown secured the 76-61 victory when the final buzzer sounded.
