Biography

 

Melly Heaton returns to the Lady Tiger squad after a stellar freshman season. In her freshman campaign, Melly tied the school record for most 3-pointers in a game and averaged double digit points per game throughout the mid-south conference season. Melly improved steadily on both ends of the floor during her inaugural season as a Lady Tiger. A deadly shooter with a quick trigger, Melly has the ability to put points on the board. With improved effort on the defensive end and improved ball-handling skills, look for Melly to make an even greater assault on the Lady Tiger record books in 2008-2009.   2007-08 statistics:  9.1 ppg; 3.3 rpg; 2 Three Point FG p/g; 40 season assists
