CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — For the third time in her career and the first time this season, Campbellsville's
Tori Humphrey is named the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week, officials announced on Monday.
Humphrey, a sophomore from Paducah, Ky., hit .400 in six games (8-for-20) during a 5-1 week for the Lady Tigers. She hit two homeruns, scored four runs, stole a base and had six RBIs.
In the four-game series against Shawnee State (Ohio), she had seven hits and drove in five runs.
On the defensive side, Humphrey had 23 chances on the week at third base and recorded only one error and picked up 14 assists.
She ranks No. 4 in the NAIA in total assists with 130 and No. 7 in assists per game (2.9).
On the season, Humphrey leads the Lady Tigers with a .396 average, 10 home runs and is second with 44 RBI.
The fourth-ranked Lady Tigers are on the road this week at No. 9 Lindsey Wilson College on Friday-Saturday, April 27-28. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET in Columbia.
