After going 4-1 at the NWCA National Duals a couple of weeks ago, Campbellsville men's wrestling jumped nine positions to No. 4 in the bi-weekly NAIA Coaches' Poll.

The Tigers, who earned 61 voting points from the national raters, pick up their highest ranking since being ranked fourth in the Dec. 31, 2014 poll. CU also held the No. 4-ranking for three editions to start the 2013 season.

With the leap nine position, Campbellsville's Chuck Sharon also made a big jump after knocking off top-ranked Michael Pixley at the National Duals. Sharon, who was third, is now the No. 1 grappler at 184 pounds for the first time in his career.

In addition to Sharon, Adrian Camposano also earned a defeat over a top-ranked grappler at the National Duals and moved to No. 2 at 125 pounds.

At 141 pounds, Jayce Carr moved to No. 13, while Jaedin Sklapsky jumped to No. 3 at 149. Justin Brown (12th) and Terrell Moore (15th) round out the Tigers in the individual rankings at 174 and 285 pounds, respectively.

CU is one of four teams from the Mid-South Conference ranked in the Top 20. Lindsey Wilson College jumped seven positions to No. 7 with 53 voting points, while Life University improved to No. 11, University of the Cumberlands moved one position to No. 14 and Cumberland University dropped one spot to No. 18.

In addition, two other Mid-South programs were receiving votes – Brewton-Parker and Lindenwood-Belleville.

For the 41st time in program history, which is the most for any institution since the start of the 2000-01 season, Grand View maintains the No. 1 spot. The last time Grand View was not ranked No. 1 was on Oct. 17, 2012. The Vikings have 12 ranked grapplers.

For the third-straight installment, Indiana Tech comes in at No. 2 with 10-ranked athletes.

The rest of the Top 5 saw adjustments this edition, as Montana State-Northern slid up to spots to No. 3, Campbellsville moved nine spots to No. 4 and Great Falls rounds of the group at No. 5.
