Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. - Campbellsville University took full control of its season in the Mid-South Conference with a 5-4 upset at Lindsey Wilson College. The Lady Tigers fell behind 2-1 after doubles play and trailed 4-2 before rallying at No. 4, 5 and 6 singles.

Tanya Murtagh lost No. 1 singles 6-1, 7-6 (7-3) to Trina Slapeka to give LWC a 3-1 lead in the match,
Anita Henestrosa recorded a win for the Lady Tigers' their first singles win in the match in three sets. After dropping the first set 6-1, Henestrosa fought back to win 6-4, 6-0 in the next two sets.
Campbellsville lost No. 3 singles, followed by wins at No. 4 and No. 6 singles to tie the match, 4-4. Hamrick pushed the Lady Tigers to the top with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Rocio Cardo at No. 5 singles to clinch the crucial MSC match.
The win gives Campbellsville (10-4) a 2-0 record in MSC play and sole possession of first place in the conference standings. CU will host Georgetown College (2-2 MSC) on Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Campbellsville tennis courts and close out the MSC season at home Saturday against Shawnee State University and University of Virginia's College at Wise.
