CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Campbellsville men's and women's cross country teams closed out their season racing in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Cross County National Championships on Saturday, Nov. 10.
Nine Tigers and seven Lady Tigers ran the Edwin R. King Cross Country Course. The Tigers had a solid team race, placing 17th out of 31 teams. Sophomore Brett Pierce was the Tiger's top runner, crossing the finish line of the 8-kilometer course in 56th place with a time of 27:20. Second and third for CU were freshmen Joey Hartlage in 98th and Dylan Ford in 110th with times of 28:09 and 28:27, respectively.

The Lady Tigers also had strong performances, including two personal bests. Junior Lauren Little posted a season best, coming in at 104th in 20 minutes, 59.8 seconds. Freshman Megan Charity came in 137th with a career best time of 21:41. Sophomore Sarah Johnson led the Lady Tigers in the race, running a time of 20:56, good for 101st place.
