Box Score MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Campbellsville University women's tennis bounced back from its loss Friday to post a dominating win over Tennessee Wesleyan College, 8-1, Saturday in the Auburn University-Montgomery (AUM) Spring Invitational.
"It was a great win over a solid team today, and we are getting much more match fit as we are getting into the bulk of our season," CU head coach
Kyle Caven. "We are excited to keep battling and will continue growing."
The Lady Tigers dropped its No. 1 doubles match, but swept its singles matches, including 6-0, 6-0 wins by Lindy Charity, Jenna Sallee and Kristen Hamrick. Stacey Drew and Sallee shutout their competition, 8-0, at No. 3 doubles.
Campbellsville (3-1) will return to action at Lagoon Park on Sunday for a match against Xavier University (La.).
