Box Score CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- Lady Tiger tennis improved to 5-3 on the season Monday with a 9-0 win over Indiana Institute of Technology at the Campbellsville University tennis courts.

The young Lady Tigers started freshmen
Megan Charity,
Jenna Sallee and
Lindy Charity at their top three singles positions, while sophomores
Aspen Edwards and
Kristen Hamrick competed at the fourth and fifth singles spots.
Freshman
Anna Tumanyan competed only at No. 1 doubles, alongside Edwards.
"Four of our Top 8 are freshmen and three are first-semester players, so we have been trying to find our legs and role so far this year. We're making strides and are really starting to play pretty well," said CU head coach
Kyle Caven. "We're getting our confidence up, and at this part of the season, to be half way through, a lot of it is just confidence that gets you through."
Each of the Lady Tigers posted a 6-0 set during singles action, including 6-0, 6-0 wins by
Lindy Charity and Hamrick.
Megan Charity and Sallee teamed up for an 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles.
Campbellsville (5-3, 1-1 MSC) will host Georgetown College for a Mid-South Conference match Wednesday at 3 p.m. EDT.
