Box Score CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University women's tennis notched its second Mid-South Conference victory of the season Wednesday with an 8-1 win over Georgetown College.
The Lady Tigers, who moved up to No. 20 in the NAIA Coaches Poll Tuesday, swept through its doubles matches and won five of its singles matches.
Anna Tumanyan and
Aspen Edwards rallied from a 6-2 deficit at No. 1 doubles to beat Haley Hart and Natalie Hill, 9-7. Each went on to notch singles victories.
Kristen Hamrick was the only Lady Tiger to not allow a game point, beating Mackenzie Hatfield, 6-0, 6-0.
Campbellsville (6-3, 2-1 MSC) will travel to the University of Virginia's College at Wise on Friday at 3 p.m. EDT.
