LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Campbellsville University fell short of a return trip to the Mid-South Conference finals Friday, falling to No. 17 Cumberland University, 5-0, at the Bluegrass Tennis Club.
After a two hour delay due to moving the matches inside, Cumberland took a 3-0 lead over Campbellsville with a pair of 8-3 wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles before taking No. 3 doubles, 8-5.

In singles play, Lindy Charity dropped a quick match to Antea Dedic at No. 3 singles, falling 6-0 and 6-1. Ana Tumanyan then fell at No. 1 singles to Angelica Sepulveda, 6-1 and 6-2.
No. 4 singles player Jenna Sallee was the only Lady Tiger on pace for the win when the match was decided, while No. 5 and No. 6 singles had not started yet.
Campbellsville (11-9) will travel to Centre College for its final regular season match in Danville, Ky., Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
