Box Score GEORGETOWN, Ky. - The No. 2 seeded Campbellsville Lady Tigers swept the No. 7 seeded Shawnee State University Bears, 6-0, in the Mid-South Conference quarterfinals Thursday morning.
The Lady Tigers started off strong during doubles play and took that momentum into singles play.
"The girls did a great job taking care of business. It was a cold morning but energetic doubles play opened up a big lead for us," said coach Kyle Caven.
He went on to talk about the upcoming opponent, the Georgetown Tigers, who the Lady Tigers will face in the semifinals.
"We have a tough Georgetown team tomorrow that has their home courts but hopefully we can bring out energy early in the match and establish ourselves."
The semifinal match at Georgetown College will begin at 9 a.m. at Brooking Park.
