Lady Tigers Tennis beats WKU 5-4 in exhibition

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — It may have just been an exhibition, but Lady Tiger Tennis stepped up in class today in beating the NCAA DI Western Kentucky Hilltoppers 5-4.

The Lady Tigers (12-3) entered the match ranked No. 19 in the NAIA national poll. They got right to work in winning two of the three doubles matches. CU used those two wins to carry some momentum into the singles matches.

 

Anna Tumanyan, Megan Charity and Kelsie Peckham were all victorious in their singles matches.

 

The Lady Tigers will host non-conference opponent Marion College on Sunday, April 13, at 3 p.m.
