Box Score BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — (RESULTS) Riding a two-match win streak coming into postseason play, Campbellsville women's tennis took care of business in its first round match. The Lady Tigers swept Shawnee State, 5-0 on Wednesday evening at Kereiakes Park.
Campbellsville will now seek revenge over Cumberland University in the semifinals tomorrow, April 24 at 12/1 p.m. ET. In the regular season matchup, the Bulldogs defeated the Lady Tigers, 8-1 on March 17 in Lebanon, Tenn.
Today's quarterfinal matchup with Shawnee State went smooth sailing from the start. Campbellsville allowed only two points in all three doubles matches. Anna Tumanyan and Haley Dallas won, 8-0; Megan Charity and Jenna Sallee won, 8-1; and Lindy Charity and Meg Brown won, 8-1.
Megan Charity swept the competition in the No. 1 singles position with a 6-0, 6-0 win. Tumanyan continued her dominance of late with the same score to seal the win for Campbellsville.
