Women's tennis wins third straight at Shawnee State

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — Lady Tiger Tennis won their third consecutive match today, dropping only one point in nine matches in turning back Shawnee State, 9-0.

The win moves CU's record to 6-9, 3-3 MSC. The Lady Tigers travel to Williamsburg, Ky. on Saturday, April 16 to meet the University of the Cumberlands in the team's final conference match.

Bolor Enkhbayar and Grace-Laura Rowe knocked off the Bears' Kendi Kistler and Caleigh O'Neal, 8-0, in doubles. Majella Nobile doubled with Jade Letheby to beat Katy Singer and Adrianna Johnson, 8-0. Elizabeth Boik and Sara Coffman won by default to help CU sweep doubles play.

Campbellsville won all but one singles match 6-0, 6-0 as Coffman defeated Johnson 6-0, 6-1. Enkhbayar, Nobile, and Rowe, and Letheby all had 6-0, 6-0 wins over Kistler, Singer, O'Neal and Mara McGee, respectively. Boik won by default.
