Box Score DANVILLE, Ky. — Lady Tiger tennis dropped one doubles match and another in singles but dominated Centre College for the most part in a 7-2 victory on Saturday afternoon.
After winning a doubles match at No. 1, Centre could only muster another win at No. 5 singles. Kaede Amano and
Majella Nobile fell 8-6 to Neha Rao and Aliza Williams but the CU duo sought revenge in singles, winning both and only allowing a total of four set wins.
Bolor Enkhbayar and Grace-Laura Rowe won 8-3 over Emily Zelichenok and Abigail Kent at No. 2 doubles.
Kyleigh Murray and
Elizabeth Boik then took down Mary Chapin Snow and Kenny Snow in a tiebreaker, 8-9, 7-3.
In singles, Amano won 6-0, 6-3 over Rao and Enkbayar won 6-3, 6-2 over Williams. Nobile gave the Lady Tigers a 5-1 lead to seal the match with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Zelichenok.
Grace Rowe had to rally winning in a tiebreak. Rowe lost to Abigail Kent 6-3 in the first set but rallied with a 6-3 and 10-3 win.
Murray was the lone loss in singles for CU, falling to Kenny Snow, 6-2, 6-0.
Brooklyn Harris capped off Campbellsville's day with a 6-1, 6-2 victory.
The Lady Tigers will hit the courts once again next week, Wednesday, March 8 for their first home match vs. Asbury University at 2 p.m. ET.
